T cells are a type of lymphocyte (a subset of white blood cells) that play an essential role in the body's immune system. These lymphocytes can help fight cancer by inducing apoptotic responses in cancer cells, making them a potential therapeutic target for future cancer treatments.
This painting is inspired by a digital rendering done by Coneyl Jay or a killer T-cell attacking a cancer cell.
